Power Team P159 Two-Speed Hydraulic Hand Pump

Contact us for a quote

The Power Team P159 hydraulic hand pump is a heavy-duty, two-speed manual hydraulic pump designed to deliver reliable high-pressure hydraulic power for demanding industrial and maintenance applications. With a maximum operating pressure of 10,000 PSI (700 bar), the P159 is well suited to operating compatible single-acting hydraulic cylinders and high-pressure hydraulic tools.

The two-speed design provides a higher oil flow during the initial low-pressure stage, allowing the hydraulic cylinder to advance quickly before automatically shifting to the high-pressure stage when the load is encountered. This reduces the number of handle strokes required and makes the P159 an efficient choice for demanding hydraulic applications.

Built with rugged all-metal construction, the Power Team P159 is designed for durability in industrial environments. Its heavy-duty formed handle helps minimise flex and operator fatigue, while the pump can be filled in either a horizontal or vertical position.

The P159 is particularly suitable for applications where there is little or no free travel, making it a versatile manual hydraulic power source for workshops, field maintenance and industrial applications.

Two-Speed Hydraulic Pump Operation

The P159 uses a two-stage pumping system to make manual hydraulic operation more efficient.

During the initial low-pressure stage, the pump delivers approximately 2.6 cu. in. of oil per stroke at up to 325 PSI, allowing the connected cylinder to advance quickly.

Once the cylinder encounters resistance, the pump automatically shifts to its high-pressure stage, delivering approximately 0.160 cu. in. per stroke at pressures up to 10,000 PSI. This reduces the amount of manual pumping required when working under load.

Applications

The Power Team P159 hydraulic hand pump can be used for a wide range of high-pressure hydraulic applications, including:

  • Hydraulic lifting
  • Hydraulic pulling
  • Component removal
  • Bearing removal
  • Hydraulic pressing
  • Equipment maintenance
  • Industrial maintenance
  • Workshop applications
  • Machinery servicing
  • General hydraulic lifting applications

It can be paired with compatible single-acting hydraulic cylinders and high-pressure hydraulic tools.
